Karim Benzema has placed Real Madrid in the lead early finishing off a fantastic cross from Alvaro Morata. The match was begun by barcelona with a turnover and horrible pass and it rapidly got worse. Madrid looked the more harmful part early and in the moment Kaka and Karim Benzema not exactly combined for an opportunity in the Barcelona field. Kaka's high heel was picked up by Benzema but Javier Mascherano was up to the task and broke up the play. Two minutes later Madrid were back after an in the midfield granted Alvaro Morata to perform down the left wing and deliver a splendid mix to the Barcelona region. Benzema blew past Mascherano and tapped the ball past Valdes to place Madrid up 1-0 early. Maybe not the start that Barcelona needed at all. They needed seriously to make some kind of statement in this sport if for no other reason that to convince themselves they can still play with Madrid. Rather their defense was again leaky and they are looking their rivals early. Follow @SBNationSoccer on Twitter
